Pilanesberg Tented Safari Camp is located within the Manyane Resort in the Pilanesberg National Park, a malaria-free area and home to Africa ?s Big 5.
Although Pilanesberg National Park is only three hours away from Johannesburg, its unspoiled wilderness is a far cry from the hustle and bustle of the city and is an ideal getaway destination.
This accommodation option offers an affordable and authentic safari experience which includes daily morning & afternoon open vehicle safaris hosted by local guides. The camp is not fenced so expect visitors like the resident Impalas, Warthogs and Banded Mongooses.
ECO-FRIENDLY ACCOMMODATION PILANESBERG
Pilanesberg Tented Safari Camp has an intimate atmosphere and offers 8 safari tents. Each canvas tent is carpeted and equipped with comfortable twin beds, luxurious linen, electricity, standing fan for summer, electric blankets for winter, camp chairs, large windows with mosquito nets and a small deck looking onto the fire pit. There is also a large tented lounge & dining area as well as communal bathrooms. All facilities are serviced daily.
Rates include: Morning and afternoon open vehicle safari; Full English & Continental breakfast buffet served in the resort’s restaurant; and dinner which is prepared on an open fire at the camp and served in the dining room.
Please note no children under the age of 6.

Pilanesberg Tented Safari Camp guests have free use of the resort swimming pool, bar, spa, curios shop and other onsite facilities.
Open vehicle safaris (Early morning and late afternoon game drives included in your stay). There are many other nearby activities like spa treatments, visit to the local cultural museum, walks, hot air ballooning, mountain biking, shuttle to Sun City and more.

The camp`s construction has a very low environmental impact; it also lends itself to be energy efficient with few appliances and LED lighting.
Very little water is used around the camp, and the shower heads & taps are all reduced flow to further save this precious resource.
Only eco-friendly cleaning materials are used and guest amenities are both natural & cruelty-free.
The camp is situated within a national park where conservation is the main focus.
To help uplift the local community, Pilanesberg Tented Safari Camp has undertaken to employ only local, unemployed individuals into their team, providing job opportunities and skills development.
